An open-ended private investment fund that complies with Shariah standards and controls and was established in accordance with the provisions of the Investment Funds Regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority in the Kingdom.
The fund primarily invests in the SEDCO Capital Global Sukuk Fund (the “Master Fund”), which is compliant with Sharia standards and registered in Luxembourg. The fund specifically targets investment in the Master Fund, which in turn invests in a diversified portfolio of sukuk denominated in U.S. dollars. It is noteworthy that the investment objective of the Master Fund is to outperform the benchmark and aims to achieve its objectives primarily through investing in a diversified portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated securities. The fund will not distribute any dividends as it aims to reinvest the profits and achieve capital growth for unit holders. It should be noted that there are no guarantees that the fund and the Master Fund (or either of them) will be able to achieve their objectives.
