Dr Al Enezi has served on the firm’s Shariah Board since 2026. He is a faculty member of Shariah and Islamic Studies at the University of Kuwait and has served on a number of prominent Shariah boards including the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), Bahrain Islamic Bank, Boubyan Bank, Warba Bank, Ahli United Bank, Bank of London and the Middle East, and Dar Al-lstithmar.
He is a regular speaker in conference and seminars focusing on Islamic finance and jurisprudence. He has published several books and research papers on topics related to Islamic banking and finance.
Dr Al Enezi holds a PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence from the University of Jordan and a Master’s degree in Islamic law from the University of Kuwait.
