Dr Al-Qassar has served on the firm’s Shariah Board since 2011. He is Assistant Professor of the Shari’a College at Kuwait University and serves on the Shariah Boards of many Islamic financial institutions around the world.
Dr Al-Qassar is a Kuwaiti national holding a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah from the University of Kuwait, and a Master’s degree and PhD from the Al-Azhar University in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh).
